SIMPLE LANGUAGE
USE:
frequent vocabulary, common grammatical structures
AVOID
complicated and technical words, advanced sentence constructions
RELEVANT CONTENT
USE
elements related to the gist, vocabulary associated with the subject matter
AVOID
redundant items, comments on the content or any subjective opinions
SHORT SENTENCES
USE
basic sentence forms, just one or two ideas for each sentence
AVOID
long sentences, frequent uses of 'and’, 'but’, 'or’ or other unimpprotant links
UNIVERSAL APPLICATION
USE
words and phrases relating to globally recognised issues and phenomena
AVOID
terminology or expressions known to very few people and/or specialists
